Stripes Installed! Before and After

I had my stripe kit installed today. I'm very happy with the result. I went with a Transformers 3 Bumblebee style kit, the hash mark side stripes, and the gills.

i screwed my stripe kit up so bad, ill have to reorder and try it again..what did u pay to have them put on?

Strut tower brace(GM), CAI, Blade Spoiler, ZL1 wheels and tires, Heritage grill, Dual mode exhaust, and thats it, no more..except for the lowering springs..Ok Hotchkis springs were delivered today, thats it..

I got really really lucky...my next door neighbor actually does vinyl for a living...it was fate. He didn't charge me. I bought him a gift card and a 6-pack.

Looks really good. Great color combo....
Do something with the trim rings, either paint red or take them off and just run black.

Looks good, putting on stripes just takes lots of practice and lots of soapy water!

my problem was the stripe wouldn't stick to the car...too much soapy water?

i washed the car 1st, and hit it with alcohol...

From what I've read, alcohol is something you dont want to put on. Strips the adhesive.

the GM instructions say to use it after the wash....also a youtube video show the guy using it...the back ones went on fine..
