well my light works fine but you guys were right about the remote thing.
hmm i wonder if i can just add extra wire to the short little black wire that looks like a radio antenna, maybe it'll improve?

Well keep in mind antennas have lengths of wire that correspond to the freq of the signal being transmitted. Adding wire may help but you need to understand the remote is crap. I called that one out from the start. lol. I would say just pick your flash pattern and wire it to a switch. I know I got a lot of media here of the light but how come you guys didn't post up some vids on your installs? If you have a different color that mine (white) please post it up so people can see it. Might help someone decide if its cool for there car.

Yay, got mine today...Red. Took 10 days. Now just waiting to get a few more items before I get them all installed. I am not one who is comfortable modifying my car, so I'm getting someone else to do it...i'll post pics/vids when all the work is done.

Got mine (red) today and just finished up the install. I went ahead and did a direct wire with no switch for now. Just using the power button on the box and the remote. I changed out the battery and it has a little better range. Video to follow once it up loads! Thanks wizzer for the idea and instructions.

Yes! Finally received my red one today! Anyone know if it is possible to make this turn on and off with the alarm when you lock/unlock the car?

I finally installed mine today (pictures coming)... The remote really sucks...you have to hold it close to the hood for it to work...

How do you connect it straight to the battery?

well, if your lucky its about 1-2 feet, from the black little wire. i extended my antenna wire torwards the middle of the grill, right behind the bowtie.

The red wire on the end of the kitt light goes to the positive and the black wire with the red stripe goes to any metal part of the chasis. typically i would just find a screw or bolt already attached and loosen it, then wrap my wire around and re-tighten it.
