I hear you on the bolt for the horn, I sat there for an hour playing with that bolt trying to get it tight, finally did though without removing the bumper.

After I removed the tire and inner fender liner, stock air box and washer bottle, I was able to reach the horn bolt without dismantling the front bumper. Sorry to hear you had it difficult Captain McFunk but glad you are pleased with the results.

Does the washer bottle have to be removed for the scoop or can it be reinstalled after the scoop is installed?

I have my scoop on with the CAI box as well but since the front clip was off and I had Jannetty do the install, it couldn't have been easier!

The scoop is installed in the same place as the washer bottle and uses one of the washer bottle bolts to secure it in place. I used a washer bag - see above post link of my install.

You only need to remove the left wheel and plastic fender liner. 5 push pins and 5 torqx screws. Then remove the washer bottle 3 13mm bolts and replace the horn bolt 10mm facing aft with the longer one provided by ADM. This will allow you to use the longer horn bolt and one of the washer bottle bolts to install. While there you trim the plastic air brake by removing a piece about 3 by 5 inches of plastic to provide the source of air thru the lower grill and up and into the airbox. You do NOT remove the front facia; unless you are installing a heritage grill. Good Luck, not difficult.

Took me all of 2 hous to mount the scoop and relocate new water bottle. Cutting the plastic piece where the scoop goes was the hardest. Now for some headers and a tune.

Snakestang65,
I get some grief of the bag but it is all in good fun . It is really a great application and inexpensive. Once the lid is installed, you cant even see the bag. You could always paint it black if you wanted. I also own a 68 Mustang so for me the bag was a natural and is usually a conversation starter.

Has anyone installed the scoop that has a Injen CAI?

I'd like to put the scoop on, but I think my filter sits right about where the scoop is.

EDIT
Nevermind, after looking at another picture I see that the filter actually sits pass that.

I just bought a ADM Scoop. Now I need a washer bottle location.
