Fore double pump

I didn't know where else to put this but I'm having trouble finding an exact source.. car is a 2010 ss, I'm assuming blue wire is fuel level power, brown/white is fuel level ground, gray is power but what's the pink one??? Was going to use gray to power pump 1 is this correct?

If you are not using the Fore Fc3 controller, you need to use a designated circuit with a 30 amp relay to power each pump. The primary pump's relay can be signaled with the green/white wire going into the FPCM. The secondary pump's relay signal can be a Hobbs or boost/pressure switch that comes on when boost is present.

You can't just use the existing wiring from the old pump. Is that what is pictured?

Question Additional Question About Secondary Fuel Lines…

So I’ve gone through a few threads on the topic of a secondary fuel line which may be the solution to the fueling issue I’m experiencing of losing rail pressure over 6000rpm and getting a knock retard. I was wondering if someone please had the knowledge/time to explain to me briefly what it would encompass to run a second line, example: what additional parts are required to purchase and the installation process? I’m aware this is the V8 FI section and I am a FI 2010 V6 LLT, I just haven’t had luck finding a thread like described so was seeking more info about this topic. Maybe this exists already and I just haven’t found the right one. All info is appreciated and thanks in advance to anyone that contributes!

I don't have an answer for your question, but since you engine is direct injected vs the multiport on the V8, your fuel setup will be quite a bit different.

Understood, I was mainly just trying to gather some more information on the subject since I saw this thread about it being actively discussed so I’ll continue to do more research and digging around.. if anyone happens to stumble upon something please let me know!

I'd call Jannetty racing. They do plenty with DI systems with superchargers, it will be the same principal. They may have experience with some FI V6's too.

I am using an fc3. You have to have a trigger wire for the pump and it says to use one off the factory wiring in the instructions.

Also, I need to hook the fuel level sender wires up to the factory wiring so I'll have a fuel level gauge

Trigger wire for primary pump is the green/white wire on the FPCM harness. That wire needs to be tapped into before the FPCM, not at the pump harness. You don't want the FPCM to be controlling your new fuel system.

I cant recall the color of the wires for the fuel level gauge, but I can post a picture of the location in the harness.

Hope that helps. The two small white wires coming out of the dsx fuel pump hat are for the level gauge.

(anyone with a good eye will spot that I have my hot/neutral wires backwards, lol. I can tell you they dont make much fuel pressure when you wire them wrong, hahah. live and learn)

Sounds like you are running out of capacity on your HPFP. You might do some checking and see if anybody offers a larger bore/longer stroke HPFP, additionally, you may want to ensure that your low side pump is supplying enough fuel at high RPM to keep the HPFP fed adequately.
