Mine gave me my 6 digit order number along with copies of what I ordered and it status code "1100" at the top of the page.

Jedi.. did did you get the hardcopy in person or was it in a format that could be emailed??

I actually locked in my order IN PERSON last Monday nite with a new dealer out of my state after my original dealer shunned me after 9 months of waiting.. when he told me I lost out. G R R R R

Anyway, my current dealer HAS issued me a verbal order number and we talked on the phone as he submitted my order. He is just 2.25 hrs. away and I want the written confirmation. Hoping he would email me a pdf confirmation.

From what I see on my order sheet.

Ashen grey.................................GLJ
Sunroof......................................CF5
polished wheels...not clear as they have the same description, but I THINK its ...................................RTQ
Exposed carbon fiber insert.............B92
Carbon fiber apperance decal pkg....DSW

Not a chance. He's as old as the hills. His typing method is hunt and peck. I could probably run the quick order system for him if he even knew how to get there. Ok all, here is the supposed deal. I went to three dealers today, of which all of them had allocations available. They all had the same thing to say,,,,,,we have no information as of yet as to when the orders will go in, everyone who has ordered their ZL1 should know that it is sitting in a queue and not one of the dealers can say who goes first. Here is another downer for me at least, the price of the car is unknown so they have all said that there will be a markup of some kind. Has to be if they only get one or two allocations,,,,,supply/demand right. My main dealer told me MSRP and now he is saying they are going to have a meeting about the whole deal later next week. Hold on to your hats guys this could get expensive quick. I told him he could have my truck as the markup and he chuckled. However my wife has given me the go ahead to purchase my dream car, please,,,,please,,,please be within my price range you wonderful chevy dealers. Love you guys,,,,really mean that. Can anyone shed light on this?

I have an actually copy of mine...but the order would not go through. They said they always call an individual at GM anyway<name given> when placing these allocation orders who makes sure all is correct and it gets finalized, I dunno, have to wait till Monday for my order number.

Jedi... I'm sure you're on top of this, but I'm skeptical every step of the way. It says 1100 at the top of your page, but until it gets accepted by GM from the dealer (#2000).... are you really safe on first??

And if you're "safe on first", your order could get "de prioritized" locally by the dealer when person C comes in with more $$, then the dealer forwards the REAL order in to get sequence #2000??? He just tells you your order was rejected by GM due to "whatever".......... dunno.

I'm bird dogging and I'm sure you are. You have good proof in front of you. You just don't know what "the owner" did for his pals to circumvent the MGR. and defuse your order.???

Not trying to cast negative energy here... just trying to be a good citizen/cop. HA!!

WE now need a "SeQuence # Support" THREAD!!

OLDScool........ see my previous POST.

YOu may have to become a good Citizen/Cop. You know how "chain of custody" goes. Until you get to stage 2000, you may never know reality of the order. I'm in same boat......... LOL
