Graco 4ever car seat

Now that my son is front facing, I'm looking for a car seat for my Camaro. We have him in a Graco 4ever in my wife's SUV and it is a great seat. Has anyone tried this model in their 5th gen and what do you think of it?

Yes. A real pain to secure the seat. Putting my son in isnt that bad. You will need to move the pass seat all the way foward. And watch his head!

Just toss him in the trunk with a few pillows..quick and easy. But don't get too squirly with the gas

Can you expand on why it was a pain? I know I did a test fit of his original car seat and base for the rear facing. I was glad it was only a base so that I could actually maneuver around the back a tiny bit to get it installed.

Expect the back side of your passenger seat to be always dirty. My son always kicks on it.

I have a Britax Boulevard behind the driver seat for my son. It secures very well. I do have a seat protector under the car seat, as well a seatback cover for the driver's seat. Recaro makes a series of seats that I've heard good things about, too.

My son is four, so he's able to climb in and out the seat himself. I wouldn't be fooling with it if I had to lift him in and out every time, though.

I will be in the same boat soon, but I will be going with Britax, they cost more but they are always one of the leading companies when it comes to safety

My son is 3 1/2 and I got the Britax black, looks like a racing seat and is always in the car. I can't leave the house in the Vroom room without him pitching a fit. But the seat is one nice piece and matches the inside of the car nicely.....

Car seat

Also got nice harness to it and looks cool. Here's pic. Looks great when dropping the top. Funny thing is he always ends up asleep in it. Something about the noise and shake of the car.
