A caravan down to Georgia would be pretty sweet. Meet up with different groups along the way or something.

Well... if you really want to and it won't put you in a financial bind (that would be the problem for my 20 something boys), then by all means...get in the car and drive man. I have had a blast at every car event I've been to...not just C5, and I wouldn't let anything let me miss it (aside from an act of God--he's the boss). I'm planning for my hubby to be there, and I really hope he goes, but I'm going no matter what. Ain't no stopping me now.

Yeah I'm really leaning towards going now. I just got word that my order "should" be in with LT/RS allocation this Thursday. That was the first hurdle. Now I just have to see how it will interfere with work.

Im 22 and super shy in large crowds, I went to my first camaro meet last month alone (bf had to work) I met a ton of people and felt like I had known some of them before that day. We actually have a group of about 11 or 12 cars caravanning (word?) down to the fest. I DEFINATELY think you should go, while your young and dont have to worry about as much (thats what convinced me)
On a side note,  anyone traveling down I-35 or I-40 through Oklahoma PM me, join our caravan!

If I had the chance to do this when I was 21...man, no brainer. Yes it's a long trip, buts it's our 1st official meet. I hated that I missed the MTI meet and made my decision as soon as I heard about this meet. Spillover hotel is the Wingate. Sorry all, I splurged for the jetted tub and king size bed! Oh yeah, party time, weekend get away! How much longer? Can't we just skip winter and go to mid-march now?
