Suspension winners of Autocross shootout @ Camaro5 Fest!

Hey Camaro5!

We wanted to send a big thank you to MTI for sponsoring the AutoX event at the inaugural Camaro5 Fest! It was obviously a great event to be a part of, and we were really excited to have some Pfadt Racing equipped cars in the timed event.

First shout-out and thank you goes to Cincy Speed, car-owner Mike O'Brien, and their Pfadt Equipped Camaro in the race tire class. This car was driven by Danny Popp, a long time racer, friend, and all around great guy. A lot of fun was had throughout the weekend with these guys. Danny piloted the Cincy Speed Camaro to the top of the charts with a 34.2 second run that was good for fastest of the day! This car had the new Pfadt Racing coilovers installed, as well as Sport Sway Bars and Solid Subframe mounts. Along with this was a Cincy Speed spec'd camshaft, and long tube headers. Great job guys! Here is a video below we put together to show everyone the Cincy Speed car at the AutoX event!

Here is Danny Popp getting ready for the AutoX runs:

And the second shout-out/ thank you goes to Erik@ Torq for winning the street tire class! This is a prime example of just how great you can get your Camaro to handle with just the addition of our Pfadt Racing Sport Package! Erik is a fantastic guy and an even better driver! Great driving Erik! It was a blast and we are thrilled to be part of your team!

Erik@ Torq:

Huge thanks to all of you involved for representing with Pfadt components and setting the standard for Camaro AutoX'ing! Great job everyone! Can't wait till next year!

It was fun to watch the car. Good work Mike, and Danny, and Cincy speed.

It was nice to stand across from the car all day

Thanks for the comments guys! Since the event was run pretty loosely, I cant put any type of exact number on the competitors. I if I recall correctly the sessions were 25 cars appx. and went off every hour, all day. So if I had to guess there were 75-100 cars that competed overall because I'm sure many people went to multiple sessions.

As you can imagine, with that many cars at the event and the C5Fest in general, all suspension manufacturers were represented. We didn't make it a point to single out any specific efforts from other competitors to target. That is not what the event was about. But with that said, because of our presence on the Camaro5 forums, and especially in an area that we are experts in, we wanted to show everyone what we were capable of. Turns out it was worth everyone's effort!
