There are already systems for the Camaro from Magnacharger and others. Plus, Kenne Bell has several Camaro kits.

Thats what GM needs to accomplish with the new SS platform IMO

"worked" is not convincing. Also the gt500s do not even get touched by shelby unless it is for badging or unless it is a gt500kr.I am not bashing the car I just know it isn't a "shelby" nor should it be considered a "shelby". Also I doubt a pulley swap and some bolt ons even with 600hp would beat a lighter and similarly powered Z06 especially if the Z06 is even lightly modded.

I know when I was racing my ZO6, and 01 SS.. The best proven street friendly Supercharger, and tunes came from Procharger.. I wonder what they have for the LS3??

show me a kenne bell camaro kit. there are none, just ls1/6 corvette. other then that its a universal tuner kit which is for an ls1/6 engine wont necessarily fit the camaro.

I don't think that will be a problem, considering LS3 vette guys can get 500 rwp with just the GMPP hotcam(I think its that cam... might be an aftermarket one though, don't quote me) .

It doesn't matter what those Civic and Eclipse guys say. There's no way bold-ons will get you 200 horsepower.

• intake: approx. 5 hp
•*exhaust: approx. 10 hp
• headers: approx. 5 hp
• muffler: approx. 2 hp
• supercharger: approx. 60 hp (expect to break your $1500 budget for a good kit)
• turbocharger: approx. 60 hp (once again, $1500 won't suffice)
• nitrous oxide: depends on kit (more horsepower, more money)
I don't know who you've been talking to, but T/C and S/C add ALOT more than just 60 hp

I looked for a Kenne bell suoercharger for a Camaro, but they dont have one.Like I said Kenne bell mainly has kits for the Mustang.Magnacharger really doesnt impress me.If I spend about 5 grand or so on a supercharger I want a lot more than a extra 100 hp.Procharger has good superchargers.Lets hope they make one for the new Camaro.

pending good sales with the Camaro the Z28 will follow.

and until then im sure you will be up to your neck in SS maro's which, stock, will be able to take almost any GT even after years of mods.

My first mods were the pully, CAI, and tune.. I was running a consistant 11.5-11.6 after this simple mod.. I still haven't seen a ZO6 run under 11.9.. I'm at the track alot.. Sorry to correct you. However, you are mistaken.

Hmm.....

Stock C6 Z06- 11.0, 11.22

Stock C6 Z06 on just DRs= 10.85

Ill stop there. I could post every video of a Z06 in the low 11s stock, but I think these do enough.

Its not the cars. It the drivers.

To add to the cause, here is a 2002 Z06 (405hp LS6 for those who dont know) that stock except for CAI and DRs running 11.55:

I guess you are right. you still haven't proven me wrong on the shelby debate.

C'mon guys lets not let the get too deep here.. No way the 02 ZO6 made that run stock... NO WAY
Although very impressive.. Now lets see if our new SS's can lay down some 11's w/o too many mods.. So I'm guessing NOS, or 410 gears on those runs if the LS6 or LS7 is stock... C'mon fess up
