Placed my order today. we'll see if it improves my black paint. Done paint correction this past winter with m105 and m205 but I'm wanting more high gloss shine

I havn't used M105 in a few years now.
As a matter of fact I rarely use foam pads any more.
What machine, backing plate and pads sizes did you use?

I recently did a 2011 Lexus LS460L Obsidian (Obscene) Black with Essence.
I used Rupes, 21 with a 5" backing plate and 5" Meguiars microfiber discs.
For paint correction I used Meguiars 5" cutting discs with M101 and D300.
Then Carpro Essence with Megs 5" microfiber finishing discs for polishing.
IMHO Carpro Essence still requires a Last Step Product (LSP) for protection.
This could be a wax, sealant or coating on top after polishing with Essence.

Here's some pics...

Im really liking this product.

Today I broke all.the rules and tried it on a black car in the sun, at 95 outdoor air temp.
Yea I know.
That said there were no problems with it at all. Finished very well, wiped off with ease, even after sitting 15 minutes in the sun.

It not what I would usually do but it was a sucessful expeirment.

I'm using it as a medimum correction, or as a follow up for Menzerna FG 400.
I have als found it works well fo touch up coated cars.

This is one of the best products to come out for along time.

I am guessing that the humidity in FL along with the temp complicates the work time with Essence..Used the FG 400( orange pad) first and then used Essence as final polish (red pad), waited 3 hours and used Black Label Diamond Sealant (blue pad)

I have a pc with a 5" plate and I used hex logic orange and white pads. I then followed with black fire ice over fire combo.
I didn't mean I didn't have good results. Heres a pic from this winter after polishing before blackfire.
I live on a dirt lane and I wash my car alot. Almost every time I drive it.
I use a foam gun the 2 bucket wash and dry with a leaf blower but it seems to have lost that high gloss shine.
I guess I was stating my paint is pretty good I just want it to pop.

OK so I finally have got to my car, and used Essence on it. I have used Essence on several other cars, I'm always going back and forth from a Carpro Gloss Pad, Scholl Concepts Honey Pad, and the Meguiars DMF microfiber.

I have found that most of the time, for light wash marring, like what my car had in spots, the DMF with one very slow pass does the trick.

Some before/after (I hope the light marring shows up in the first pic well enough). Also a couple reflection shots after application.

Just finished up another application of Essence/Reload. It's been a little over a year since first application.

I had to do 2 APC washes, and a Carpro Trix application to fully remove all protection from my car. I do maintain the Essence/Reload with Carpro Hydrofoam once every 3 months.

The Mfg. claim of a year durability is absolutely true. I suppose I could have went longer, but my car had it's normal light wash marring after a year of at least a wash per week.

Essence is a real winner for removing/filling light defects, great shine, and durability. Total time to polish was 4 hours vs. 8 or more with a normal finishing polish.
