Thanks I will be sure to use this list for when I stock up on supplies. Just out of curiously have you ever tried Surf City Garage? I have used them for a while but I feel like I have seen a decline in products to make them cheaper to put them in stores likes Walmart so I am looking at changing brands. I will still use Surf City garage for my DD but want the good stuff for the Camaro. I was looking at Adams but am open to other options so I am for sure gonna take your considerations in

Good writeup CD07, glad to see Wolf's Body Wrap got some love. It's a pain to remove, but it is really slick, holds up really well and seems to last forever.

I agree with you. The only reason it wasn't the number one choice was the more involved application process.

Excellent write up Matt. Mods, this should be a sticky.
This is a perfect thread for the novice detailers to start after they've cut their teeth on some of the other suggestions and are ready to step it up.

A few extra questions: Is that Wookie mitt any different than Adam's Murino Wash mitt? You're so right about the Iron X, it literally smells like a bucket of zombie a-holes! Isn't that GTechniq glass sealant the one that you said was really hard to apply? |

And yes, the G1 is an absolute beast to apply your first time. Huge learning curve but so worth it. I was an early adopter so the IPA tip wasn't around when I applied. Would've made it much easier. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Wow, incredible list and very well formatted so it's easy to understand.
I know you've helped me in the past and this will be something I will reference when I finally feel up to polishing. Sticky, this must be. |
