What company would ship a bumper?
I'm looking to have a front bumper shipped the cheapest route. Who have you used? The bumper would only be going a few hundred miles (350 miles 1 way) in California.

You only have a few choices, UPS, FedEx or DHL for stuff like that, and best to inquire with either of them on shipping.

There isn't any other company that will ship freight for a cheap amount? I'm assuming UPS will charge an arm n' a leg for a bumper even though it's only about 5 hours away -__-

Try Grey Hound Bus Lines. They do a flat rate an all you have to do is meet the bus at the depot...

Are you talking about a bumper like on a truck or the front fascia on a Camaro? there is a heck of a differance in size..

olblue75 beat me to it. Nothing is cheaper for large, bulk or heavy items than shipping freight. I have used them for decades. Only downside is you have to pick it up at the bus depot but you will save significantly. |

www.uship.com let them bid for your business. I used them to ship my SS bumper from Florida to Oklahoma if I recall the cost to ship and insure it was $330.

A few years ago I bought a rear bumper for an Equinox and it shipped this way. Not sure of the cost but its supposed to be pretty cheap. They have lots of storage room in the belly, the bus is going anyway so its all profit.

As I have shipped 2 bumpers, I've had some practice. I would not recommend it. It is a very large box that requires a lot of packaging to keep the bumper from cracking.
On one that I shipped, the cost was almost as much as I made off of it. Greyhound will SOMETIMES do it. They did once, the other time they refused.
