Has anyone heard the 'standard' or expected build and deliver time for the '11 Vert? New member to Camaro5 and my dealer should drop my order this Thursday. I'm not sure how I'll do with the wait. Patience is not a strength of mine.

Well it all depends on if your dealer has an allocation ready to fill. I placed my order 11/18 and I have a build week of 2/14. Need to go through QC then gets shipped I'm hoping for the first of March !

The way they explained it to me was their one allocation is this Thursday, which I have dibs on (luckily). They couldn't really say how long it would take. Your response helps me quite a bit with a timeline. Hopefully I'll get a TPW the end of this week.

I agree, no dealer logo's unless thet are willing to pay my $1k a day add rate :-)

My dealer said my convertible has a build date of 2/6 (today) which is a Sunday. I'm assuming he meant a build week of 2/6 cuz this was my last update: Status 02/05/2011 - (3400) Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Paperwork Order Produced) Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together. Any guesses when it will actually be built or how long after the build I'll be updated?

Means it will be built, started to be built sometime this week. They take several days to get through the assembly line. I forget the exact number 4-7 I think. Then depending on where you live it could take up to a week to get shipped by train then trucked to the dealer. Id guess 3-5 weeks before you see your car. I would post a new thread and ask others may have more accurate times than I do.

I've been following build/delivery times since I joined this site (as I anxiously await my vert) your right, my TPW is 2/7 also, im expecting delivery around end Feb/early March.

Alright, Thanks guy. The sooner it gets here the better. We got a lot of work to get it ready for C5FII. Not sure if we will have enough time

I live in a suburb of detroit and saw this today. manufacture plates on it and an ac plug out the front with the oil change plugs on the back... I figured some of you might like to see it....Sorry the photos suck only had my blackberry with me...
