It is so much fun.

I believe the engine controller should be fine with those parts.

Oh boy...All told, including paint, labor, and a tune...it came to about $12,000. But bear in mind, I replaced the entire front fascia, which alone with paint was about $850. You can get many of the performance parts for less than MSRP if you shop around.

Would it have been cheaper to reduce weight from your ZL1?

Maybe...but probably not. There's not much in the ZL1 to easily remove 200 lbs. Even if I attacked the doors and things with carbon fiber. Plus, the DSSV suspension is far superior on the track to the Mag Ride, And then, there's a dynamic the 1LE and Z/28 have that I just love.

Subtly lumpy. I have to get a good exhaust soundclip sometime soon...everytime I try it, it comes out like trash.

I'll try to put it into words in the meantime...At idle, it sounds like it skips a beat every once in a while. It's not a big lope cam at all, but it is different, and it is angrier. At WOT, the car positively screams through the dual-mode exhaust, now. Very loud, very brash. In every other situation, though - you'd never know.
