Yes at the hit there is a pressure drop to 38 psi for about 0.1-0.2 seconds before it corrects. The ZL1 pump is better than the stock SS fuel pump. A BAP may help some (I didn't know you already had the ZL1 pump) but there is no way to maintain 60 psi pressure when that solenoid cracks open pulling fuel from the fuel rail, a dedicated fuel supply is best if you are going above 125 HP Shot.

great info guys. I'm going to reach out to my buddy at the dealership to see if he can set my fuel pumps up to the zl1 programming. Can't hurt anything.
