Wheel Locks that don't rust
I bought some Wheel Locks from Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts or O'Reilly (can't remember which one... ) and they weren't that expensive (like $10 or something for a set of 4). Of course, I got what I paid for, and they're rusting, as you can see in the picture below. The picture actually makes it look worse than it is, but it's still pretty bad and I want them off ASAP. Before I do that though, I want to buy a set to replace them with. I've heard good things about Gorilla wheel locks, so can anyone here vouch for them? Anyone had them rust or are they really good?
If someone can provide a link to an online store (hopefully Amazon ) with a set of locks they'd recommend, I appreciate it. I only want a set of 4, and I have the 20" RS polished aluminum wheels, if that matters (no clue if the tread on the bolts is different on the models with other wheels; I'm thinking not, but just in case ). Thanks in advance for the help! |

I've had my Gorilla locks since March and 4,000 miles later no rust.

Plus one for Gorilla locks. Six years on my last car, never a speck of rust.

I bought a set from GM performance about 5 months ago. Guess who they were made by? No rust issues.
