I had to trade my SS in Bitter Sweet

Long story short the kids are getting bigger and after a couple road trips with my seat pushed up to make my 8yr daughter fit and my 2 yr daughter feet against the passenger seat and my wife just couldn't get comfortable so I had to let the Camaro go but I got a great deal on a brand spankin used 2012 Durango Crew 28k miles hopefully I will be able to get another on in 2yrs or so I loved that car but family first

Im in the exact same perdicament as you. My wife has the family SUV, but on the days where my wifes at work and me and my daughter go somewhere, its getting old getting her in and out of the car seat. Im fighting the urge to sell, but time will tell! Just saw a brand new '13 crew cab silverado on sale for $11k off. Making the fight very difficult!!

It was very hard to let go but with that being said the dealer where I traded it in gave me everything I wanted because if the deal wasn't perfect I would walk But I have a plan Im going to make my wife fall in love with the Durango and take her Malibu and pay it off in the next 2yrs and that will be my everyday car and then I can get the Camaro or vett manual this time

My main deterrent is I dont want to strip the car, because its just to freaking hot. I would never trade it in as-is. Id lose my ass! So I guess laziness FTW!!!

You have to do what you gotta to do to be happy and make the family happy so its all good and you said u want another Camaro in the future so you will be back when its feasible. 376LS3 calm down the guy made a reasonable suggestion a crown vic is a nice not that expensive 4 door car that do seem to last a good while before anything major breaks, I don't see where he though were cheap and cant afford anything more than that so calm down and please make this site a more welcome place.

I heard of adults fitting in the back of 5th gens just fine, unless you have a family where all of you are like 6'5" tall. Will say I don't think a Camaro is the perfect family car, and is why in that situation you are best off having an actual family car of some sort since the Camaro doesn't fill that role the best and really isn't designed to. Enjoy the Durango in the mean time and 2 years from now should be the start of the 6th gen MY which you may decide you like better than the 5th gen anyway by then.

They fit but I have to slide my seat up for her to get her legs down and a 2-3hr drive up against the steering wheel was killing my back and I'm 6, 1 and looking ahead it would only get worst and figured I should trade it before the new 14s come out and the dealer try low ball me
