No legit dealer will charge you anything for bringing your car in with a complaint when it is covered by the warranty. If they are, I'll get you the number for GM Customer Service. GM pays the dealer for diagnosis.

If you are not satisfied with your Camaro, take the car to the dealer. They should make every effort to make the repair to ensure you are a happy and completely satisfied customer. Period!!!

I suppose I will take it in if it doesnt go away real soon.

My old dealership (Hyundai ) had a policy like that so I assumed this would be the same. They acutally have a great service department; the last time I took it in they finished the car in no time.

I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue.

Im gonna check the seals around the airbox anyway. Maybe even go for another fuse-pull while Im at it.

My dad's truck started making a whistling noise when he releases the gas pedal and it was because his tranny is going out. However he has 120k miles on the truck and its a Dodge.

Mines doing it also, my car sits for a week or so and after it warms up it goes away, sounds like the belt. Please post what your outcome is.

Check the muffler, maybe someone put a whistle in it, or your car is just in a good mood.

i noticed both of you are from New York with the whistle problems. could be the belt being wet and whistling due to the weather up there. just a guess. have you checked your fluids?
