so one of my buddys was over with his family. we where all riding dirt bikes, when hes getting ready to go he asked.. if i would take his two young boys for a ride.I agreed but asked the Mom ride too!

the short story is the Kids loved it and the part that gets me is what she said to her husband when we got back,

"I figured it would be fast.BUT I did not think I would feel it in my stomach"

OK your turn. Do you have a story about someone you gave a ride too?

yes, just today, after work, a coworker was getting ready to get on the bus and i asked him where he lived. he lives almost on my way home from work, so i offered him a ride. after i arrived at his destination, i asked him, "do you think my car has a V8 or a V6"?
he was shocked when i said my car was only a 3.6L V6. naturally aspirated none-the-less.

Yes, the salesman. We went out a nice stretch of curves east of Spokane and as we were cruising out he made mention of a lady who he'd brought out on a test drive; a professional race driver who took this curve at 80 so on the way back I took it up to 75 on said curve, the car handled great with room for more if I'd given it. He didn't say anything til a few weeks later when he met my husband and told him about the "thrill ride" I gave him where he described himself as "white knuckled" going around this one curve.
I reminded him that he had told me someone took that curve at 80 and I wasn't even going 80. He says "Yeah, but she was a professional race driver!!!" I shrugged it off, "sorry I scared ya dude but I coulda gone faster!"
My husband said "yeah she's a pretty good wheel, ain't she" with pride.

My fiancee and I were out on a date last weekend, she's thinking about upgrading vehicles from her 04 malibu. Conversation went like this:

Me: So you're looking at a Honda Accord still? 4-cyl or a V6?

Her: V6, I like a little bit of power.

Me: Yeah, plus the newer V6 has dual exhaust...that's pretty neat.

*it's at this point we turn off the highway and have a good 1/4 mile solid stretch into traffic*

Her: Yeah, your Camaro is a V6. That means it's not all that quick is-

*I was going about 10 MPH, I floor it at this point*

Her: OH MY GOD! OKAY, OKAY, YOURS IS FAST. Let's not do that again. Maybe you don't need that SS after all. I don't want you dead.

I took a friend and her husband for a ride, she was in the back, and we both laughed our a$$es off when he was screaming like a little girl and trying to grab for that non-existent "Oh $hit" handle
