Congrats on your new Camaro, they are no doubt attention getters and as you will find out sometimes unwelcome attention. You'll have people follow you just to get a longer look at you and lets not forget the cops you'll get there unwelcome attention also. LoL

The other day I was at a stop light I was the fourth car back, the other lane only had 1 car in the lane. I'm waiting for the light to change , and I look to my right and an older guy about 70 is pulled up next to me just checking out my car lol. He still had to more spots he could have moved up to wait for the light. Either that or his depth perception was way off

MurkyLuke, to answer question...YES, and on to imporntant stuff....lol.

CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Before when I had the civic it was just another car. Now that I have a camaro and I bought it, I have this feeling of absolute pride in my car. I don't even know how to explain it. I was never a car guy and now my car is my baby.
Lol my question is do you guys ever get random people taking pictures? My car is still fully stock(but it's still a beautiful car)(especially in manual mode). The other night I was at the drive through and i had people taking pictures of my car lol. It was satisfying, prideful, yet very awkward because I know it is pure stock(shows how the camaro stock is admired by everyday people). You guys with the modded SS must feel like celebrities lol

Thanks yall
Get use to it Welcome to the site and Congrats on the car

A few days ago, my teenage daughter called me on the phone. She said, "Dad! Some girls from my high school just posted some pictures on Facebook. They saw this awesome Camaro parked near where they were, so they took some pictures of it, and posted them just to say how cool the car looked. And, Dad: It's our car! You are in the car!"

Sure enough, I had been parked earlier in the afternoon, waiting to meet somebody. Without even knowing it, shutterbugs were grabbing shots of the bitchin' Camaro.

My daughter messaged the girls (who she is only distantly acquainted with from school), and at first they did not believe her claim that this was HER car... however, she had plenty of pics of her OWN with which to prove ownership. Now her social status has been elevated even further!

I remember one time I was driving my camaro and these people were taking pictures and giving me a thumbs up as I was driving. That felt strange

I was 20 when I ordered and received my '83 Z28. Glad to see todays's 20 year olds feel the same way about Camaros as I did/do.

I've had people take pictures of my car when I'm in restaurants eating and even had a couple ask me as soon as I got out of it if they could take pictures. And just last night as I was getting in the car there was a guy standing just slightly off to the side and rear of my car who then said after I started it "Sorry, I just wanted to hear it start up and enjoy it."
