Somewhat new to the forum...just found this thread! F'n awesome! Gonna read all 30 pages tomorrow!

Been in the gym 26 years this year. It's a lifelong commitment for me. Been eating clean since 1997 (first time I saw my dad have bypass surgery and he has since had a second).

I just like to lift heavy shit even though I'm only a buck ninety...

Tonight was boring ass cardio, ab's, low back. Did 5.26 miles in 30 mins...100 reps of low back exercises, 300 reps of ab's.

Tomorrow is heavy bench...

Hadn't been to the gym since 8th grade lol and after my senior spring break I decided to hit the gym. I've gone 5 days a week since late march and gained 15lbs so far and moved up a lot on the weight I can lift.

Worked up to 350 on the incline.

Skull crushers with the straight bar up to 190 x 6

Seated military press with barbell (did these because girlfriend wanted to do dumbbells lol) worked up to 225 (haven't done these in 14 years..typically do them standing)

Pushdowns..the stack for 3 x 40

About 200 reps of ab's...

Heavy squat day tomorrow!

I took last week off, had my hands full getting my motor back together but back at it again this week. I've been using the Fat Grips on my hypertrophy lifts and find them to be beneficial. My arms are always pumped when I lift but the fat grips seem to amplify it. I do find them tough to use on heavier lifts but think I will continue with them for a while.

Friday. But going tonight in an hour or so.

I do strength class on tues/thurs and the rest of the week I alternate between cardio, weight training, and swimming. Not as much swimming lately because I got some new tats and body piercings.

Fat grips are awesome!

I've found as I've gotten older having a deload week the 4th week and taking the 8th week off is very beneficial.

I've been impressed with them.

I normally stick with a program for about 6 weeks, not less than 4, then take a week off from lifting and do some sort of cardio, usually HIIT on a heavy bag. This seems to work well for me.

That's serious weight man, you're a f***in' monster. Keep it up. And 5 1/4 miles in 30 minutes is beastly too! I wish I could run that fast and we are almost the same weight.
