WTT Perfect Silver ZL1 Wheels for Black ZL1 Wheels

Finally bought a ZL1... woo hoo!! Looking to trade my silver wheels for black. Wheels are perfect, no curb rash - nothing. Car only has 5700 miles and appears to have been babied - still smells new!

Would also be willing to trade wheels/tires together if that helps (eliminate mount/dismount costs) - tires are OEM Goodyears with 7/32's front and 5/32's rear.

Prefer local deal, but would be willing to drive 3-4 hrs from Normal, IL to meet up and swap.

Will get pictures up tomorrow night... lemme know if interested!

Paul...

Just go to house of wheels and buy the replicas like I did then put some michelin SS tires on them.Put your wheels you have now up for the winter cause you know they suck for winter driving.

Yep, won't be doing a whole lot of winter driving... once the salt comes out, she'll be put away and I'll start getting serious with the mods

Really looking for OEM black 10 spokes and hoping I can find someone looking to trade, but aftermarket is a good second option.

You might want to re-think the aftermarket option as I put a set of Factory reproductions in Black Gloss and everyone I see at car meets wants to dump their OEM Z Rims. 4 Rims with sensors for less than one OEM rim. Now the OEM sits in the basement with Goodyears for track days.. Besides the the Factory Reproductions were fully painted, which is a lot more that what I can say about the OEM's. I put Michelin AS3's on and that tire will support mid 11 sec runs...

If I can't find OEM's I'll prolly go that route... but would really prefer to trade my stock silver's for stock 10 spokes if I can - if you find anyone wanting to dump their stock 10 spokes for silver let me know

As for the strip I'll be looking to trade my 16" CCW's (black face/polished lip) and V6 brakes off my old SS for a pair of 17" Welds that'll fit the ZL1 without changing brakes. Traction shouldn't be a problem on the strip

Gonna try to keep this one a little simpler (U/L pulleys, cam, headers, heat exchanger, reservoir) and do most of the work myself - but I'll still be hitting Matt up for parts and advice. Don't know how many more trips to Florida and back my truck has left in it

The 10 Black 10 spoke was a 5,000.00 option. I know my dad just bought a set of OEM 10 spoke rims with tires in good shape for them and he paid 2,000.00 for them (2nd hand). Good luck on finding someone to trade out. I think it'll be a tall order, but I have seen stranger things happen....

The black ten spokes are standard equipment, not $5,000. Polished are optional.

What he said

Polished wheels were a $460 option on my car - black 10 spokes were standard

Just had 3 of mine replaced after a wreck. 1100 each from gm retail. Thank god for insurance. I kept the scratched ones they replaced. If I can find a second rear one cheap they will be my track wheels.
