I just installed my AEM A/F gauge and set it to Lambda. It idles at about 1.08 Lambda... When I step on it, it goes to 0.8 Lambda. When the idle issue happens after putting it into neutral, it drops way down and then goes back up to 1.08 Lambda.

Ugh! This is so frustrating.
Have you setup the wideband to output to your VCM scanner? It sounds like you just installed it now, after tuning... if that is the case your tuner was probably using the narrowband sensors to get your fueling correct. He may want to retune it now that it has a wideband, but you will need to get it reading in the scanner, and without Pro, you"ll have to set it up through serial.

That 1.08 idle is about 8% lean. Mine sits at .99 - 1.02

Since you have hptuners and are waiting for your tuner to respond, you might wanna try this... I know I suggest this all the time on this forum, but when we modify these engines they need more air at idle. And this setting is basically your min throttle opening.

You can increase it some, and if it doesnt work, or you get a cruise control feeling, you can take it out. Easy enough and worth a try.

I would increase the whole table by 1.0 until you notice a difference, then work in .25 increments. Mine has been increased substantially..

Once you get enough airflow, you may need to adjust fueling.

FYI, I pay Jannetty for my remote tuning, but i kinda understand whats going on. Enough to be dangerous, ha.

He did put in his own wideband when first tuning it. But when I went back to get a retune for E85, I did notice that he didn't connect his wideband this time. Maybe that is the issue?

thanks

I will check that out. I like to live dangerously as well, that's why I do all of my own work on my car

Well they have different air fuel ratios, the tune changes depending on the mix. I would think that would need to be checked. Not sure.

I have no clue what I'm looking at, but this is where the RPM drops after being revved or coming to a rolling stop:

I'm very much a novice, but I wonder if your MAF tuning is off down low. Your STFT is trying to make things richer.

Your IAT looks high to me also at 140+ unless this is on startup after heat soak

Actually, the more I look at it, the more that I see that appears wrong with the MAF. It's a little hard to tell with some of the units and scaling used but it looks like the maf is only registering about 7lbs per minute at 2500 rpm and that should be about double. It also seems to be dropping as the RPMs reach the first peak.

Looks like your LTFTs must be shut off for one. They are 0/0. If STFTs are adding 19% then LTFT should be kicking in some to help. I dont see your wideband.

And how the hell is MAP pressure going up while rpms are dropping and maf is flat lined? Map says 13.2 psi at 288rpm? Wtf? Either the math is wrong with that or your map is scaled wrong.

27% throttle position at 288rpm doesn’t sound right either.

Guys, thanks for the help... it sounds like my tuner has some work to do. I wish I knew how to tune it myself, but I have no clue. I can data log, upload and download tunes and that is about it... Maybe I need to start teaching myself.

I had a revving issue at idle when I installed my Whipple and it's because I re-used the stock MAP instead of replacing it, even though the instructions in the kit said to re-use the stock one. After I replaced it, no issues. I saw on your list that you did replace it, but maybe eLeSthree is right and the scaling is wrong. I would look there and elsewhere in the tune. Doesn't sound mechanical to me.

If your tune is scaled for a ZR1 map sensor it will look like this.
