removing stripes...is it too late?

hey guys,

i've had my car since feb 2010 and i am thinking of other ideas for the stripes. I am wondering how bad would the paint be different if i remove the stripes after being on the car for 3 years. if i decide to not run stripes, would the paint be faded on the remainder of the hood and would it be highly noticeable?

options:
1. remove stripes and leave silver
2. add single stripe on hood and leave back silver

I like it the way it is. On my IOM 2010 recently removed same stripe pattern. Cannot tell stripes were present however kinda wishing at times would have left on.

I would not do the single stripe. Check into the T3 stripes they look good

Silver probably won't fade as much as the darker colors. It hides many flaws... I love my CRT, but do miss the SIM for hiding dirt and scratches and such.

I'm in the same boat, wanting to change up the stripes but im worried about paint fade. I have the matte black exteneded bumble bee stripes on my black SS for about 2 years. Wondering if I remove the strips and clay out the paint if that would help. Any one else have any experiance with this?
