Great question, I'll ask...

GPS speedo would be cool, I have an iphone app but don't know if it works to 200+

Besides that, you might have an issue with GPS update lag, you're accelerating so fast it would have to be immediate.

The min GPS you'd use would be 10Hz anyway, so not a big deal. And he should also have undriven and driven wheel speed data too.

So a valid speed signal should not be of any concern. You wouldnt want to totally rely on GPS anyway, as that signal is not always guaranteed, but it's good to have it as a backup and independent speed signal ( as well as recording GPS position etc for datalogs )

Er-mah-gerd...

On a serious note, alignment is done, lettering for the back glass is done, though I can't reveal that yet... It's for a close friend...

Stevie, I did ask Corey about a speed limiter and ProEFI has it but Corey is of the opinion we are better off determining the rpm we need in 5th and just hit that mark.. She might stumble pretty hard if we hit a speed limiter depending on how it enforces it, and that could cost us a pass....

Just keep the wheel-spin at 220 to a minimum.....

Thanks you two.... Right now everyone is watching the weather and looking for updates from the Mile staff... Sketchy... mixed results depending on the weather guesser you read... I'll worry about it when we are there...

Front end of the car is back on after almost two years of not being on... Fenders are flared... looks sketchy to me but it's functional... When I take it in for the interior rebuild I'll have them do the fenders properly and make them look right...

From the Delaware DMV:

Quote:
Darkness
It is harder to see at night. You must be closer to an object to see it at night than during the day. You must be able to stop within the distance you can see ahead with your headlights. Your headlights will let you see about 400 feet ahead. You should drive at a speed that allows you to stop within this distance or about 50 mph.
