Does anyone know if the SS Brembo caliper will bolt on the V6?

Just wondering if the V6 system is the same where the SS Brembo will just bolt on.

The mounting is all the same. You will need to buy the calipers and rotors and have wheels that clear the larger calipers.

DONE!

Would those calipers mount to the stock V6 rotors? If not, how much would the rotors cost on top of that?

If I'm not mistaken, I've seen high performance vented driled /sloted rotors starting at around $100 a peace in some websites.
I'm sure you could get some aftermarket basic ones for about half that.

If the Brembos would mount on the stock rotors, that would be a cool upgrade. I've got the wheels, lol. Definitely something to look into!

Not quite the OEM rotors, but brembo upgrade rotors can be had from tirerack for about 750 for the set.

P.S. - they have cross drilled available as well.

I would doubt it as the rotors for the Brembo`s are thicker than the V6 rotors.

Spec`s from Wiki

2010 LS/LT OEM Brakes:

* ABS
* ventilated front and rear rotors
* single piston front calipers / single piston alloy rear calipers
* Rotor diameter (front) (in / mm): 12.64 / 321
* Rotor diameter (rear) (in / mm): 12.4 / 315
* Rotor thickness (front) (in / mm): 1.18 / 30
* Rotor thickness (rear) (in / mm): 0.9 / 23

2010 SS OEM Brakes:

* ABS
* ventilated front and rear rotors
* four piston fixed Brembo aluminum front and rear calipers
* Rotor diameter (front) (in / mm): 14 / 355
* Rotor diameter (rear) (in / mm): 14.4 / 365 / 315
* Rotor thickness (front) (in / mm): 1.26 / 32
* Rotor thickness (rear) (in / mm): 1.1 / 28

Anyone else wonder why the V6 is always reviewed as having an equal or better braking distance than the SS? My brakes don't look nearly as expensive as the SS'.
