Oil Burning?

I just checked my dipstick 15 minutes after I drove my ss and I see oil only at the bottom of the dipstick. No where near the x's. I drive pretty aggressive on the street but should this be happening? There are no leaks in my driveway. Is this normal? Just got an oil change not too long ago

Did you check it after the change?
Some have reported they only put in 6 quarts instead of 8.

Top it up and keep an eye on it.

Dump in a quart and then see where it is on the stick. The 'add' mark (bottom of the Xs) is one quart.
Better to be a little low than overfilled.
If you are running synthetic it will run into the pan pretty quickly. If dino oil you should wait some time for it to drain down.

You should add another quart. The level should always be within the X's.

Sounds like they only filled it with 6 quarts like the V6s take.

I am curious who the hell changed your oil without checking the recommended oil capacity.

I definitely got charged more because they said I have an 8 quart engine capacity...I'd be surprised if they didn't fill it to 8..they showed me the dipstick after and it was in the x..maybe just from driving hard it went down?
