Sorry we haven't updated in a while. We've been super busy with the racing.

We have done some modifications to the car. We added lexan windows and carbon fiber doors and trunk to lighten up the car. Its still 100LBS over the minimum weight so there is more to be removed.

Good news is even with the extra weight, we completed the first Trans Am Pro race. Finished second in class which is amazing for the first pro race. Here is some pics

So where do you plan to take off the more weight off the car.
We are planning to change out the rear glass to lexan, swap the hood for a full carbon hood, change the driver floor pan out to a aluminum one as well as change the dry sump box over to aluminum and changing its size to something smaller. There is also other small stuff that can be changed that will eventually add up.

Nice Driving! That white Stang clearly has some power seeing how it walked away from you in that last straight, but you out drove him at the end of the video. Great job driving.

No it wasn't in my class. It makes a lot more power than my car. He was just a lot slower in the turns.

If Chevrolet sends their promotional "Team Chevy" reps this year for the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, I'll see you there.

Last year the Black Dog Team won class, but I hated seeing Eddie wreck the Breathless 2013 ZL1. It was cool, we got to do two pace laps behind Sebastien. In my HUD it was a little over 55 mph, but hey...

I'll most likely be out there just hanging out. The team isn't going. It sucked last year when ernie crashed. Btw don't feel too bad all of our cars were never real zl1s.

Any issues with the car so far? What's min weight for TA3A? Think you can get to it?

No issues with the car as of right now. It will be receiving some more changes soon so that it can be competitive in World Challenge. TA minimum weight for my car is 3560 we are well below that.

Very cool to see, and forgive the expression, but how the sausage gets made.

Can the public buy those wheels?

Yes the public can. They have a race version and a street version. They are made by Forgeline
