PLEASE HELP IS IT MY BCM???
Hello everyone,
My 2012 Camaro ss the high mount brake light stopped working so I bought a new one went through everything to replace it. Plugged it up and still no high mount brake light. What could it be there is not a fuse for it or the other brake lights. I read that the bcm operates it so I checked all the fuses for the bcm 1-8 and all the fuses are ok. PLEASE HELP I don't know what to do!!!! Thanks

Bad BCM, broken wiring, bad ground, bad light socket are all possible and probably a few more. Bad BCM is probably the least likely. Going to take some diagnostic testing to determine what is actually the issue.

Try disconnecting your battery and shorting your cables together.

Check fuse F33 (20A) in the underhood fuse block. Check for power on the White wire at the high mount connector and ground on the Black.
