Cool, now the real question is, you said in the one you saw, just wondering how this slipped by and became a surprise, I did not see this listed on chevy's web site?

Agreed. It's a muscle car, why would I want paddle shifters?

To me, it still looks like the standard buttons on our '10s and '11s but with a plastic piece that flexes and pushes the existing buttons.

Close(r), but no cigar.

They still can't get it right though. I've posted this pic before. It should be finger pull for up shifts thumb push for downshifts on both sides. Down shift on the left and upshift on the right is retarded.

This is what it should be.

Either way, with todays automatic transmission offerings and their abilities, buying a manual transmission is like wiping before you poop, it makes no sense.

Clearly you have never driven one.

What he says from about 4.20 to the end, best suits this thread.

I agree, I hate the bowtie on the wheel.

The SS versions should have the SS emblem in the center, not just on the bottom.

I'm a stick guy also, but If I had an auto trans, I'd be getting that hurst paddle shifter. That thing is sweet looking!

Kudos to GM for actually LISTENING to their customers though and making changes.

But for the record, I prefer the PRE 2012 steering wheel.
