The first day I had ever brought my car to work I went to the front desk to ask the receptionists a question. Unknown to me during lunch they went out and posed next to my car, came back, and put the pictures on their computers as screen savers. I was a little shocked to see my car on their computer screens.

I couldn't even count how many times I've seen people take pics. I've had at least 10 people that asked if they could have their pic taken with them in the pic, and several that I have even let them have their pic taken while they were sitting in it. Of course there was a lot more interest back in 2009 when I got the car and there were hardly none on the road. What's really strange is when you are checking stuff out like car show pics and you see a pic of your car. My daughter came across a pic of my car on Facebook that someone had taken, I didn't even know the person.

Does it really bother anyone if someone takes a pic of your car? Do you prefer they ask permission? Personally I'm flattered and I don't care who takes a pic.

Another was when I had to drop my folks off at the nissan dealership to have their Altima serviced. A dealer came out as my parents got out of my car to try and sell them something but realized they were going to the service area and he looked at my car, got his cell phone, pointed it at my car and took a picture.

It's just awesome to know that even a stock camaro can get pictures taken of it and it's just something that rolled off the factory.
Where have these people been? I'm 65 miles south in metro San Antonio and you literally can't turn your head without seeing a Camaro!

I did see a Maybach this morning on I-35 headed out of Austin toward SA, followed immediately by a Bentley, both with regular-folk Texas tags. Never seen either of those on the road before.

I do all the time where I work. It's a small family amusement park/entertainment center so lots of people from out of town/state. I enjoy seeing people take pictures that way. I feel some gratification for the work I've done on it. Got a few funny stories of these people too.

Once at Walmart, 2 of their cart collectors were taking pics and asking me questions as I walked toward the car. I am surprised at how much attention my ls with the steel wheels use to get, I did keep the paint nearly perfect tho.

In May of this year, I was on I-10 heading to Phoenix and noticed a Ford Expedition speed up in the fast lane (I was in the slow lane). The Expedition slowed to match my speed when it was on my driver's side rear quarter panel. In my rear view mirror, I noticed the passenger and people in the back seat area grab their phones and cameras to take pictures of my car. That lasted about a minute until it slowed to merge into traffic behind me. I was a bit surprised since the Camaro has been out for a while....plus my car is stock looking.
I occasionally catch people taking a quick picture with their cell phones on sidewalks too but it's rare.
