How many cars did you test drive before you chose the Camaro
Drove 4 Mustangs - 3 2010 GT (One Hurst Edition) and one 5.0
Drove 6 Camaro - 2010 Cyber Grey M6 - Black M6 - Victory Red A6 - Red Jewel Tincoat A6 - Rally Yellow M6. |

my dad and i test drove a 370z. and then we did a test drive on a camaro. the looks and the v8 rumble got to me.

None, actually.
Being in the market for a RWD V6 coupe, the Mustang wasn't even worth serious consideration (at the time, anyway - the new one is something else altogether). A friend had the '09 Challenger SE, and while it looks awesome the weight was too much to overcome on 250hp. I didn't even get to test drive the Camaro, they weren't available enough at the time for the dealerships near me to let me drive what they had. Kind of a leap of faith coming from someone who'd never driven a RWD car before, or a coupe, or a car with over 100 hp, much less all of the above. But it worked out just fine.

Just one. 1LT 6M SW. This was the 2nd dealer I went to however. The 1st one was closed.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the Turbo 4 and its 3.8L big brother. Both of which were Track versions. A base model 370Z, in that sexy Monterey Blue. Even considered another Supra, which I had before my late MR-S. When I first saw a SIM RS up close it looked so much like the concept that I thought to myself, "They're actually making it like that?" Had to have it. Pulled the trigger. Spent the rest of the money on mods

A pearl white 2009 370Z Touring w/ 6 speed manual. Nice but nothing on the Camaro SS.

Challenger SRT-8 and GT500. Liked the Challenger's looks, but it felt as big as it looked. I was close to going with the GT500, but it didn't call out to me like the SS did.

Tested a left over Roush 429R 2009 and was going to get that instead since it handled on rails but it was sold before I made the decision. Went with the Camaro since the 2010 Roush were out of my price range.
