Ted,

So all these mods can be run safely without upgrading the heat exchanger. I'm looking for something very similar and just trying to budget for everything I need to support the setup. Thanks.

I think you'd be better off emailing him directly. It's: tedj@jannettyracing.com.

Yes sir, the factory heat exchanger is better than the aftermarket gives it credit for.

We pride ourselves on a balanced performance package the produces more power on lower boost.

Boost is a product of restriction, and restriction produces heat.

Our package relieves that restriction to unleash more power.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss.

Ted.

So you don't necessarily need to upgrade the heat exchanger or add a reservoir tank because the boost levels are conservative?

if you run at a road course, you would be wise to add a reservoir and a larger heat exchanger...my opinion. For drag racing, the factory unit will suffice.

I know this is going to create some controversy.

I have yet to see any benefit of a larger heat exchanger and or reservoir under the hood.

Larger heat exchangers Upset the balanced air flow across the engineered cooling pack, so a bit of rob Peter to pay Paul.

So you end up with more Weight, and Hotter running Radiator, AC condenser, engine oil, trans oil, and diff oil.

The cooling limitation is the Brick inside the supercharger NOT the super efficient Heat exchanger out front.

Secondly it is hot under the hood, so the Idea of placing an aluminum reservoir in the hot engine compartment is absurd, it goes against any common sense.

Hot always goes to cold, simple physics, Hot under hood temps are absorbed through the reservoir in to the cooler liquid further heating it before it goes out to the cooler.

The Very reason why GM did not include one in the first place, less water in the hot engine compartment the better.

Like I said earlier, The Best Gains are from removing restriction, reducing friction, balancing air flow in and out of the engine.

We make more power on Less boost with our power packages and carry the power to the finish line.

Ted.

When I was at the drag strip (not a road course, I know) there were only 40 cars there total so I was running back to back runs as fast as I could get down the return road. I did 15 runs total. I never lost anything. As long as I hooked I was good for a high 10 at 128-130 mph.

I also could hot lap my car at a track rental where I came up the return road directly in to the burn out box and got my best times.

The recovery of the factory system is amazing, it fully recovers on the return road.

I road race my car regularly and never lose any power, IAT are always in check.

The one that is cut off was a 10.973

4 runs in 14 minutes. My 60 ft dropped a tenth on the 10.9 vs the 10.84
