you think this method would be OK for a DD?
(some times I hold the Throttle a bit between shifts, not necessarily under WOT)

I'm digging this method
Mine is setup as "always on". To feed the signal for clutch, I used Lingenfelter CTAP with plug and play harness to get a signal. The ctap has adjustable parameters for hysteria, clutch engagement position via percentage. I have mine set to 98, which is almost clutch pedal to the floor. From there I have the LNC wired for +12v activation on timing retard and limiter. I use it as a DD, and when I shift at high Rpm it doesn't make a difference as long as I'm not holding throttle between shifts. But if I did, I could use it for no lift shifting.

Thank you!
no micro switch sounds perfect to me...

Yes, Mine is setup to be powered on all the time, there is nothing wrong with that, nor is it a exotic setup.

2nd.
What did you have to do to feed signal from the clutch to the LNC?

To arm or trigger your LNC-2000 you will need this:

http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...3#.V05ROvkrLb1

You will also need a harness to plug into the pedal sensor and the CTAP.
The reason for that, the 5th gen camaro does not use a "on off" clutch pedal sensor, the sensor reads in percentage of position. That box converts the percentage to a "on off" signal depending on where you set it at. Say you want no lift shfts, you may want to set it at 50 percent. That will keep you from over reving, before your LNC starts to limit your RPM's

3rd.

(some times I hold the Throttle a bit between shifts, not necessarily under WOT)

I use my car as a DD, it works fine for me, keep in mind, this setup is not anything that is considered exotic, in fact this is how most have theirs setup. If you hold the throttle between shifts, all that will happen is it will limit you from increasing the RPM's, you wont drop any RPM's you will just hold them.

I'm digging this method

There are two ways this works, you set your RPM limit at say 1500, or whatever you want to leave the line with, once you press in your clutch, and have reached that set percentage point, that will trigger the CTAP, your not gong to exceed that set RPM. Now once you are driving down the road, or strip, and you shift at say 6k, it will limit you from hitting say 6500 RPMs because you have again, triggered the CTAP to arm your two step. Thats why it works so well for NLS.

Hope this helps.

No wheel spacers now, just proper offset ZL1 reps.

Been a little while since I had any updates. Took the car to the 1/8th mile track for shits and giggles this last weekend. Car ran consistent 7.8-7.9. The NT555R just aren't sticky enough for the power I'm making. Running the LNC-2000 at 2500rpms and retarding 6-7 degree of timing to build boost at launch, best I could get was a 1.90 60ft. I tried a bunch of different ways to warm the tires, ran them at 20psi, then eventually 16psi. That was when I started cutting 1.9s. Car was trapping 99-101mph all night. Just couldn't get off the line. Video and slip soon.

Get some real drag radials, you will be much happier. Try launching at a higher rpm, I was launching around 3500 it wasn't high enough, but I was babying the rear end, I had it sold at the time. Also 15 psi is what I run in my tires at the track. Also play with your LNC-2000 it takes some time to get it, I still haven't got mine dialed in.

Been a while. Car has had some serious visual updates since last post.

Phantom grill is gone. LED DRL, with the harness to make them work with headlights

Black tail light bezels. Next will be the chrome exhaust rings.

GMPP short shifter.

Finally, I removed the silver factory stripes, painted ZL1 reps gold. (Picture taken before I removed old grill)

Some things left to be done:
New radio dash kit (will be here tomorrow, April 27)
LED interior lights (will be here 27 April)
Blackout side markers

Not pictured: new LNC003 installed. Seems to build boost better/faster than my 2000 unit. I like it so far.

Out of left field, I decided I wanted to do Air ride in my car. I didn't want to spend $3500, so I pieced together my own kit. I'm about $2400 in it, and i have everything i need. Here's a test vid with one strut.
