Fender (wheel well) liner carnage and advice

Just suffered my first casualty with the car as I ripped out the front right fender liner from hitting a cone wall at 60 mph or so.

The result is that i ripped the plastic rib from the inside of the front bumper where the liner mounts to. Has anyone else experienced this and could offer some advice on the best way to fix it? As a result of this, my front bumper is now bulging out near the side marker which I think is a result of the before mentioned plastic rib being pulled out. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks.

I'd say your going to need a new front fascia.

I had decent luck with epoxy (Home Depot) to fix the mounting loops when my fascia got ripped forward after a body shop left out the lower bolts and the droop allowed it to get caught on a parking curb. I used wax paper and clamp to fill the sections in the mount points that got cracked or ripped out, then drill out as necessary.

I also had the lower rib as you described on one side broken. I have not taken the time to try and use epoxy there.

You can use two part urethane 3M adhesive. The kind they use to fill and repair semi rigid urethane.

This is correct I had a similar experience ... I had a 0.5mph collisions w a curb and my splitter cracked . No big deal buy a new splitter . until further examination when I realized the fender liner broke away from the front bumper cover .the bumper cover tabs ripped off with the liner so I couldnít just replace the liner.. so long story short new bumper cover ,splitter, paint and liner .hopefully you donít have bad luck like me though ..
