Hey believe what you want, but if other cars with higher power levels can cut 1.7 and 1.6 with the 245 tire then they are just fine for us.

Maybe someone else will find out because I'm done racing this car for the foreseeable future. It's fun but it needs so much work to get it faster than a 13 sec run that I'd rather build something cheaper and get the same result. I'd rather beat up a $5,000-$8,000 "race" car than my daily 2 year old $29,000(new) car.

Lol soo....anyone interested in some barely used Mickey Thompsons?

They'll fit perfect on 1lt rims and give you a simulated 3.55 rear gear ratio without actually adding gears at all.

I'm not saying it is impossible but I'm saying I'll believe it when I see you do it, but I guess I won't be seeing that now.

My clutch is a weak link, it either blows the tires or spins the clutch, it will not hold the power well. Neeing an am clutch setup to get the full benefit too. more $$$$

FANTASTIC run. Congrats.

I was one of those lucky ones!!
Sorry for the spoiler alert, but I will be posting a thread with pictures and a write-up from my experience - it was awesome! I can confirm that his car is 100% stock with exception to the IPF supercharger - 100% stock exhaust and mufflers..

Ran in Savage race this weekend and then had a halloween party to go to, but I will get on the ball and make my thread.

Indeed, that is a seriously fast run especially if it really just has a SC and a tune. If the exhaust and other parts are still stock, there are still quite a few tenths left in that car.

Depends on weight, so I listed 3 of them. 3900, 4000 and 4100 lbs.

These figures are from DA drag times.

Rear wheel HP figures.

Thanks!

So looks like a minimum of about 160 hp gain from stock to 185 hp if it was 4100 lbs. Not too shabby.

I'm surely picking up that magazine that car is in just to see what they did to it and it's dyno numbers. That run is incredible!
