About to hit 12k miles soon, no issues yet with transmission. Only issue so far is I’ve had my end links tightened twice now

Pretty much the same situation here. 3 track days, 2 autocross days and ~4,000 miles. So far I'm very happy with it. Early ones had the overfill potential from the factory, but that's all been sorted now. Very pleased with my A10.

That's the privilege of the thread starter. I can reference anything I choose. I'm bringing in the Z06 A8 because I own one and I'm tempted to let it go for an A10 ZL1. I need to find out if I'm going from one mess to another, I like my current mess but would rather have something reliable

I'm with you brother. Probably getting a 19 1LE myself and if it had an A10 I'd never buy another Camaro.
Until this thread I never heard about the overfill. You and I were in the 1st batch so maybe I need to have mine checked. |

One of the things that contributes to the A8 problems with the torque converter is the slippage programmed in to reduce vibrations from AFM. Thankfully the ZL1 doesnt use it so I’d guess that would improve reliability. The A8 has steered me away from purchasing a C7.

I am wondering if we will see anyone convert there M6 car to an A10. I'm sure it's doable, but at significant cost.

Definitely worth a check. The trans has to be brought up to temp and then checked hot. There were a couple instances of cars on tracks having issues due to this. If you never push your car you'd probably never see any issue.

I boiled the brake fluid at NCM if that counts. DOT 4 installed now, but no trans issues at all.

LOL! After my 5th Gen experience on the track, the brake fluid swap was the first thing I did when I got the ZL1. Now I'm considering a stickier track tire on my spare wheels to see how those do next summer.
