SCT X3 Tuner

Can these be sold? I am looking to sale mine and want to know if it can even be done. It was a tuner I got from Ted. Nothing wrong with it but I just had my car dyno tuned at ARD so I dont need it anymore.

I guess my question is I never returned my car back to stock. Im guessing the stock tune is still on there? I don't know if I can just sell it with everything or if there is something that needs to be done before I sell it?

Im going to sell it for pretty cheap because I would like to move it pretty quick.

Let me know if anyone has expertise in this area.

Sell it as it. Whoever buys it should understand they need to have it tuned for their specific setup.

Being that the car was not returned to stock the unit is still married to your car, SCT charges 160.00 to unlock a Married Tuner Plus shipping.

Go Back to your Tuner Return the car to stock and have your tuner reload His Custom Tune.

Or hang on to it, it is Still a Great Tool to have in the car, if you get a check engine lite or, you want to log or you find out your not 100% satisfied with the tune I can still Tune it for you Remotely.

Ted.

You will want to tune the car back to stock to "unlock" it from the vehicle before sale. If you do not you will have to send the tuner to SCT to have an unlock
