I have 3.
1 I did myself
another some jerk parked right next me in an empty parking lot and he left his paint behind.

The worst one my brother did while getting out of my parent's Durango.

I got that ding insurance on all three of my cars just for that reason. I don't think twice about calling the guy to get them removed.

I have a new scrape on mine. I was walking to my car from class this morning and this white beater car pulled in the the parking spot next to me too wide and hit my front quarter panel. I heard it hit and I was like oh lord PLEASE let it be her car rattling. :/

I have black and you cant beat it. I take care of my car like it's my child and every time I wax it I find something new. Kind of kick my self for black since its so unforgiving.

Here's how I deal:
Mine's a daily driver, so I have resigned myself to the fact that there ARE gonna be dings, nicks and scratches. Twice a year, I take her to a scratch and dent place and have the dings removed, then I polish out what scratches I can and fill and sand the rest. Then I detail her. Takes a couple of days so I usually do it during my spring and fall vacations..

just had one removed from the crease. I didnt think there would be anything that could be done due to the ding location but miraculously its completely gone, cant even tell at all. Mobile dent guy from "Dent Kings" came right out and 87.00 later we were back to perfect!

Had one just below the pass mirror. Stressed me out for days, it was like a beacon for my eyes, I couldn't help but look at it when I am anwhere near the car. Never used PDR before so I took a gamble and I am a PDR believer now. Simply amazing how they can get the dents out like they were never there.

In my opinion, just wait until the thing is dinged to kingdom come...then use all the money you saved to get the whole thing re-painted...that is what I am going to do from now on because I find a new scratch or small dent every two minutes.

or buy a really good airbrush and matching body paint, thin it really well with lacquer thinner and apply several coats after lightly sanding..works like magic and saves thousands of bucks....
