I vote loose wire!
there should be a:

7. All the Above

in the beginning it was only 1 of the above.....likely #1 or #2......now it is likely that all off the above play a part.....

I vote #4 - the tune install was interrupted because of the fuel geyser.

Hoping for an easy wire fix. My guess though is ECM lost some files during the programming interruption.

I vote for number 2.....issue happened when open loop and long and short trims tried reading and adjusting.

This is like being in the waiting room at the hospital while a love one is having a major surgery. What's the prognosis doctor, is his car going to live?

I just called GTAHVIT...

Apparently, it was a vacuum problem. Some of the hoses PQ used were not exactly the right kind and were collapsing under vacuum when the car was running. They took some hoses off of GTA's car to see if that was the problem and they tightened up everything that might have led to a vacuum leak.

The car then ran fine and they got some good dyno runs in.

They got the correct hoses at the parts store and have put them on and he's good to go.

GTA said they took videos and will be sure to come in here to make a more detailed post with more info and video later this evening.

That is all!

(Legal disclamer: I did my best to accurately convey the info GTA gave me. Any inaccuracies are totally my fault!)

Strange that no one else thought of it. Makes complete sense though.

I think it's great news. It was an easy fix. I'm so glad it wasn't something serious and expensive to fix.

well in his video the hoses looked pretty normal. It will be interesting to hear the rest of the story later though...I am sure it was a day full of strange events and happenings.
