Does anyone know if it is possible to get the leather that goes across the dash on the new 2012 models and put it on a 2010 or 2011? I figure that it is a part probably sold by GM that should be something that can be ordered. Thanks!

Its suede (which is *technically* a type of leather yes) is built into the dash. I'd think that you'd have to replace the entire dash.

It might be suede in the ZL1 but im pretty sure its just regular leather like the seats on the 2012 2LT and 2SS models.. but yeah its part of the dash you can't just put it on there.

maybe check with your local interior shop. Might not be that expensive to get it done up (Custom). I had my seats in my audi done with matching inserts in the doors with leather for right around $1000.

The dash is not the same, behind the trim there are screws that hold it to the dash in older car that is not there.

Hmm I was afraid that might be the case. Guess the only solution would be to order the whole dash which is probably crazy expensive.
