Noticed something new about the camaro today..

Today I had something set near the traction control button and didn't realize it was holding it down and after it toggled the traction control off. I realized another icon lit up...anyone know what that means
it turns off when you push the button again and comes back when its held.

If you hold the traction control button down for 7 seconds it completely shuts down all traction control, if you hit it once without holding it down it like partially turns it off

to be more correct, holding it down for ~7 seconds turns off traction control and stability control

Exactly. Traction control and stability control are two very different things, though they can operate complimentary to each other.

What do you mean, "if" you ever decide to do a burn out? You will. You will now have that idea stuck in your head, and it won't go away until you JUST DO IT ALREADY. You know, get it out of your system. You know you want to.

Wow. I didn't know about holding it down for 7 seconds. Last weekend at the track I just had traction control off. I launched a little too aggressively, and my buddy said i did an epic burnout. The ass end dropped, it drifted a bit to the the left and finally caught. He said it was a nice smoke show. I can't imagine without stability. So that is what people meant by disabling the stability control. Cool.
