Shaky Steering Wheel

I have pfadt lowering springs and have the street custom alignment they recommend. Also just got new tires on my 20x9 front&rear (275/40/20 all around) Now at 55+mph the steering wheel is very shaky. What is the cause of this and how can I get it fixed? Thanks

If you just got new tires, and assuming you didn't add wheel spacers, the balance is probably off. Take it back and have them rebalance the wheels.

thank you, no wheel spacers.... i felt it a little before i upgraded the tires but now i feel it even more. Couldn't be the alignment right?

Did you have 20x8 on the front previously?

I suspect tire balance, but did you give the tires time to warm up? The stock P Zeros tend to flat spot especially when its cold. Not sure what tires you are running now.

I am running general g max's now. The highway ramp is about 5 minutes away from me so they should be warmed up by then

Going to 9" wheels with 275's in the front should make no difference as long as they are properly balanced.

Wider tires would impact ride on roads with heavy truck traffic
