That's exactly how my tonneau cover looks on my '13 ZL1. Sorry, don't have a good photo to illustrate.

Here's how high my top sits in relation to the the rear seats when it's folded down. It was a lot higher when I first got the car. Repeated cycling of the top has caused it to sink a little more down into the well.

I don't know that I would worry about your top. Things will stretch and settle over time.

Thanks, but it's hard to tell from the picture but the side arms of the frame are putting a lot of upward pressure on the hard plastic pieces on the tonneau. I am not comfortable with accepting it this way. It they would just go down about 1" more I would be happy.

HI, having a problem with my top as well 2012 2ss 4,000 miles garaged never seen rain . check out my photos I have rub marks on drivers side and if you look the top touches the rear weatherstrip on the drivers side when open I will also post the passenger side which is good and does not touch the rear weatherstrip at this time yours looks good as far as touching which I feel is the cause behind the rub marks and holes

I have to go back and show this to the dealer in person . I hate the it checks out ok and come back if you have any other problems. Dont sell it if it has problems and stand behind it if it does . Sorry I go out of my way to help make things correct and looks like not many people do now a days or even care

My top touches the rear weatherstrip exactly as your picture shows. I have gotten into the habit of stepping out of the car each time I put the top down and tucking that area in (if I'm not using the tonneau cover).

It's is a pain in the rear, but that has stopped the damage.

I have been procrastinating about taking it to a dealer because I'm afraid they may correct that problem, but give me three new ones.

Mine looks just like that also and I also have to push it down slightly. I don't worry about it though I just drive it like I stole it!

The problem is the two side arms of the frame are pushing up on the hard plastic side pieces of the Tonneau. I am afraid of two things, one is rubbing the paint off the frame, and second the force against the plastic tabs that go under the front edge will crack and break off. I will not accept it this way.

i think you guys should take your car to dealer and have it checked oiut while still under warranty. you shouldnt have to push down anything when top goes down. i also put a bath towel over the folded top before i put the tonneau cover on, to protect it. my car is a new 13 2 LT.

Angry Bird, you have been here long enough to know that is not right. You know all the hell I went thru and my top sits down in the well just like when it was new. Take it back to the dealer get it documented and have them find out how to adjust it. Good luck to you sir.

One thing positive I can say is when up the top has never looked better.
I am taking it back to them early next week, depending on the weather, and it will either be right or I will request a Field Engineer from GM come adjust it. If they say no then it's on to the next step.
