i heard that some of the ss m6's are in QC???? my dealer said that my car was built and everything on 6/25 but it hasn't been shipped, it can't be in QC could it??

Mine was to be shipped on 6/25. That same day it went to QC. it is a M6. Yours very well could be in QC.

Mine was supposed to be shipped around the same time and arrive at the dealer 7/7. It's supposedly sitting in QC.

I have a M6 on order I have seen and did read a few issues with CV joints and axles going out and newer ones being installed from the dealer is bigger in diameter. Maybe QC will update the axles or checking on them? Well good luck hope you guys get your vehicles on time!!!

There have been many problems with this transmission. A friend of mine has 600 miles on his SS and the trany broke. Had to get a new one from the dealer and it took 10 days to repair. So if you look at the spasticsquirrel the only cars listed are automatics. Not one 6 speed Manual is listed. Mine was built on 7/2 and on HOLD. I hope they get it right soon.

Dealer not much help, I was the one who told him window sticker was available thanks to this forum. I noticed he took delivery of a 2SS A6 that was built within two days of mine. Suspect it is caught up in the trans problem!!

So here is the codes and how to read and understand the report.
If you are Status code 50 that means your dealer has the car on their lot or you have already recieved it. If you see a 50 and have not been called by your dealer I would get right down there and see if they are selling it to the highest bidder or showing it to hundreds of customers.

If you have a 42 that means your car has shipped. Follow along the line and you will see a R for Rail and a T for Truck. If it is on the rail we can get you the automated tracking number to call the railroad. It is imperitive that you only use the automated system. If you go crazy and start talking to live personnel at the railroad and trucking companies we will be cut off from our updates with that information.

If you have a 4B that means your car is prepared to ship and has cleared QC. It should be leaving Oshawa very soon. So watch for your movement into 42 very soon and a railcar number.

If you have a black 4D your car is moving thru QC and expect repairs soon.
If you have a Red 4D issues requiring parts have slowed car repair down and additional information will be coming.

Here is a direct quote from GM regarding our collection of member information for tracking: Please read and understand it as we will be following this guideline:
Please continue to encourage members to contact their dealer before turning to your group for info. We have to keep in mind that although these are customer orders, they are owned by the dealer until delivered (and paid for) to the customer. In fact, I would suggest that they must have a VIN (either partial or full) to be added to the list

So that is pretty clear. No vin number no information via this spreadsheet. Go to The Viz and have him verify your production and once built call your dealer and get a VIN # Here is the link to The order number status tracking

There are a lot of red VIN's on that page, I know mine and quite a few others are M6's.
