so what is a good brand for a catch can? apparently RX doesnt work as well as I thought.. I never figured out why when I removed my intake, I had oil coming from the throttle body into the intake. I had Catch can and breather. I should see no oil at all right?

Are you sure you had the drain valve closed? Seems it's pretty common for people to get it backwards. I had an RX catch can once upon a time and never had an issue with it. I have an Apex can now and it also works well, just make sure
The bottom is screwed on tight.

For some reason when I had my Rx one I always had a problem with that dam drain valve. That was the reason I wanted to switch so I wouldn't have to keep dealing with it, but then one day one of the fitting on the top snapped off so had no other choice but to switch.

Hello v6 members. Hows everyone? I finally decided to join in on this post. Had to make some minor adjustments to the car before I deemed her worthy of this post. Here is my 2012 VR RS Camaro.

I'm pretty sure I left mine open at least once or twice... I feel like the RX one may not be a big enough orifice to make the car run weird, but if the bottom comes off of one of those screw on cans, you will know immediately.

I really don't think you'll ever get it all... Maybe if you had multiple cans, but you gotta think of reversion, and atmospheric moisture that's going to collect also. I've had a catch can on my 14 since day one, and it still has some oil in the intake, etc.

thekid13, how hard was it to get that center dash panel off? I've ever looked into it, and never seen it changed, but I like what you did!

Ty its not hard to remove the panel its self. First remove the plastic painted/fabric trim panel above the leather panel. Just slide a flathead in between and pry it out. Then there are some screws that needed to be removed. After its recommended to partially remove the instrument cluster trim closet to the radio to make room to pop out leather trim piece. Chevy dealers offer lots of color options now. Back in 2012 they only offered silver, black, and white. Now they have just about every color. To completely remove the leather piece from the panel itself is a major pain. Its held together with adhesive backed padding. It does not come out in one piece, a lot of scrapping and finger nail scratching. Unless your going with a custom color and material like I did (Premium beige leather), I recommend buying a new piece. Its only $180, then its a simple snap back in place.
