A cam Kit will run you about $800 -$900 if you install it yourself..
Take it to a shop and it's going to run you around $1500 and up..

I would go with the exhaust that produces the best gains.

If you want an old school sound, just play this.

I think the Service guys in the drive in bays would crap their drawers if you pulled in with a cam that sounded that good.

I dont think you can make a car w/ emissions equipment sound old school or truly cool. The days of rumbling at idle are gone unfortunately.

This is taken from the Socal area forums... a car of another member on here. I think this car sounds great, and has that rumble that you might like.

We have two muffler designs for the 2010 Camaro, S-Tube and Chambered.

S-Tube is the more aggressive
Chambered is the early Muscle Car Tone.

I shot this guy a PM and he said it's joke other forum members played. His car has only minor mods and sounds nothing like this.

Can anyone lend some help on how to produce that "old school" exhaust sound.

I'm thinking long tubes, mufflers, and jetison the cats - but what do I need specifically ie: JBA vs LG vs SPL; 1-3/4in vs 1-7/8in; cats vs no cats?

I've scowered You Tube but nothing really comes close.

Plymouth... Might want to stop in at MRT and talk with Scott Hoag... They are kind of right behind the Compuware stadium.....

I don't know why, but your post made me think of that movie Skin Deep.
