A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

A new Camaro.....in Black.........should not in any way, shape or form. Be female! Your gonna give the car a complex! It will look down right Bad ass and masculine! Dont give it a name. Refer to it as Him or He in discussion. Go and get a pair of those plastic Bull "Berries" that you can let dangle under the rear end!
Or.............if you are short in stature and resemble a Hobbitt.....call it "Precious"............. Call the car what you want! Its a new Camaro and you will be all smiles!! |

It's pretty simple for me, when I first had my 66 Chevelle on the road, it was "The Chevelle"... then I got the 69 Chevelle and it became "The 66" and "The 69", so the Camaro will start off as "TheCamaro" , although my b-inlaw is trying to convince me to by his 72 RSZ28, then I'll have to rethink it.

Nice photo!
No doubt about that! I just knew going into Belmont Big Brown wouldn't win....but sure as heck didn't think he end up last-of course, his jockey gave him no chance. Then there was Secretariat, nicknamed "Big Red" who decimated the field at Belmont.....I always thought Hard Spun was a great horse too. |

but all jokes aside...im not that old so tradition means nothing to mean as far as car names go...and i personally always thought it was stupid to name a sports car of any type after a female...i think of my cars as fast, strong, and beastly....no female fits that description...name a luxury or show car after a girl...
