I spoke with weapon x back in August about them making a kit for the 5th gen. This was their response:
“We are still in the prototyping phase for production chiller units, so availability and pricing are still to be determined. Once they are finalized and ready to be sold we will announce it on all of our social media channels!”

I sure wish someone here (USA) would develop ang market a top drawer kit. That would be my next mod. It makes sense to me to spend a few bucks to actually use the all the power you are making rather than build for more power and compound the problem. I think the chiller method is way ahead of any HX with or with out fans.

True. The 2018 Demon and the 2019 Redeye both use a factory chiller. FCA understood the heat problem and cured it.

Yep but, only for street and drag racing. Those who try and road course these (some do) will see no benefit since usually ac is off during WOT or high RPMs.

So drag and street use (which is most of them) will like the factory installed units...

I sent a message to weapon x saying the following:
“Are you still planning on making a kit for the gen 5 zl1? There’s plenty of interest in a quality kit”
And they responded with:
“Oh for sure! I think the CTSV2 Kit is about done and the ZL1-5 is next.”

Hopefully that means it’s coming soon. OP, I hope you get this figured out, I’ve heard very many great things about the AI kit and have considered getting one myself. Let us know how everything works out.

FI seems to be pretty active on FB. They are always posting about kits shipping and clips on results of their systems.

I've been very on the fence about this. AI is $500 less but reading this and some older threads it makes me lean away from him.

From what I understand the Australian kit does not come with the wiring harness. I have the AI kit which I just installed and you should be able to check what parts you should have from the picture of whatever kit you bought.

I don't see why Dave would mind me sharing the link to the directions so here is the link to the instructions for my kit which is the 19" extreme chiller with competition mode.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...UE?usp=sharing

One thing not mentioned in the instructions that I found out you should just know if you work with AC systems (which I don't) is that you should install the provided new orings and washers every place you take apart a line and that the orings and washers should be lubed with PAG oil prior to installation.

BTW this will not fit with the Afco heat exchanger. I had to put the stock heat exchanger back on even though I cut the crash bar.

Hope this helps!

Yes I did. I took it to a mechanic just to evacuate and recharge the freon and I had a friend cut the crash bar for me but everything else I did myself.

I'd be glad to help as much as I can. Just take your time figuring out the directions and matching them to the pictures. At least with the AC lines they pretty much can only go one way. The water lines were a different story for me since I have a water tank where the stock air box normally goes.

Thanks for the link, I am definitely missing the thicker AC line and the comp solenoid lines and solenoid.

I just purchased a manifold kit and vacuum pump so should be good to go on the AC side. I also purchased the 19 competition mode

I consider the Interchiller awhile back and ended up doing the AFCO for the time being.
