[QUOTE=Deke736;6658622]It may be easiest to remove the rear bumper. It's 8 screws total. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes and you won't break any clips. Then you have a clear shot at the exhaust tips for painting. Here's a pic of mine removed:

Deke736 You're saying to remove the rear bumper first (8 screws) then remove the rear diffuser. I agree that picture gives a perfect view and unobstructed access to the tailpipe tips. Probably spray the under side of the mufflers as well since from a distance you can see the silver/gray back portion of the muffler.

The rear diffuser is attached to the rear bumper, so by removing the bumper it all comes off as one piece leaving the tail pipes and mufflers exposed as shown in the picture. Giving you easy access to paint what you want to paint black.

Outstanding! Thanks, I didn't know that, this is going to be so much easier. All the posts I read everyone of them broke a couple of the top clips trying to yank the rear diffuser loose. Should get to this sometime this week. Found a YouTube video with someone removing the rear bumper, but as soon as they pulled it off the video ends. They never showed the back of the car after it was removed.

I kept my badges and painted them black. I also painted the taillight bezels. In hindsight I may
have chosen plasti-dip.

Blacked out my ZL1 Emblems. Plasti-Dip, tried to peel back the red on the One, but that didn't work so I'll leave'em All Black for now. Can always peel and paint at a later date. Still have to Black Out the Exhaust Tips, waiting on my Noweeds then I'll do both at the same time. Looks good, the more I look at it the more I like the look of all black. Sprayed a couple shots across my license plate holder, too much huge white lettering, but I may have over sprayed. Now its almost too dark to read.

Trying to find a deal on Reverse Light Trim Accent Bezels, preferably Black, but can always Plasti-dip black. Best price i found for billet aluminum black bezels on eBay for fifty bucks. Just wondering if anyone knows of a better deal?
